The Holms: Lost Pines

Recently we took a trip to Bastrop and the Lost Pines Resort. We left on Friday afternoon and met a large group of our Houston friends there for the weekend, kids and all! We, the girls, had been planning this weekend for sometime and it worked out perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about the Lost Pines Hyatt resort. If you want a perfect family vacation spot in Texas, this place is the best! We had 11 children under the age of three and it was, for the most part, a flawless weekend. Hudson was the oldest of the kiddos, which is hard to believe. He is 2.5 right now, and the next oldest are almost exactly a year younger. Needless to say, he did well playing with them, but next year things will be easier for him as the others become more active! Eleanor loved being with all of her H-town and one Austin girls! All of our H-town friends seem to have girls! Here are a few pics!

And then there was Hudson...He did not enjoy the pool so much, but had a blast in what he called, "The Waterfalls." For hours, and I literally mean hours, he ran in this area and made several new friends.

How cute are these two girls? It is hard to believe they are almost a year old.

Nothing is better than your girlfriends. I love how all of these girls are getting to be around each other even though we live apart. In this pic we have Eleanor, Sloan Factor, Izzy, and Laine Wise. Just too cute.
