The Holms Love The CUBS!

To start off our Christmas week, we headed first to Austin to cheer the Brenham Cubs on in the State Championship.  We woke up early on Saturday and headed south on I-35.  Our sweet friends, the Dunaways, agreed to keep Molly while we were at the game.  Not only were they consumed by their triplets, but now they were watching our baby.  Sweet Molly is pretty low key though.

The game was great even though it did not end in a victory for the Cubs.  I was so proud of the team and their character.  These are such good lessons for Hudson and Eleanor.  Never Give Up and Believe in yourself and your team.  Those are the lessons that I took away from the game.  Afterwards, we stopped back by the Dunaways to pick up Molly and the kids got to spend a little time with the triplets.  Then it was onto Houston!

CC,
My heart hurts for you.
I must admit that I searched your blog to find pictures of your dad to remember how awesome he was. He was truly inspirational as a coach, a role model and as a dad. He will be missed by many. My biggest hugs to Hudson. I know he doesn't get it, but I hope God helps him understand that Big B is taking care of him. My love, my love, my love to you and your family...
