North Carolina – Part 1

I am finally getting to editing some of our North Carolina pics.  We had such a great time.  We stayed in Cashiers, NC.  It is right across the SC border in the mountains.  Our trip consisted of flying into Greenville/Spartanburg, SC.  Pam met the kids and I there (Nelson and Chuck would fly in a couple of days later).  We rented a car and began our trek up the mountain.  It is such a pretty drive once you start going up the mountain.  As you will see in the pictures to come, all of the beautiful flowers and ferns that we long to grow and spend tons of money buying just grow wild there!  Here are a few glimpses of the beautiful mountains.  These pictures were taken on the road to Highlands.  It is similar to the mountain views that you will see around the area.
