Tailgating

Last Sunday, the kids and I went for a walk.  Our normal route is past all of the TCU playing fields, which keeps Hudson busy looking out for players or games.  As we near the football field, this is what Hudson says to me:

“Yep, here we are.  This is where the TCU football players play.”

As he points to Lot #2, “Yep, and there is where the band practices.”

As he points to Lot #1, “And there is where we tailgate.”

After the last comment, I am dying laughing and realizing that we have totally warped this child.  As a three year old, he is commenting on tailgating and he proceeds to let me know “there are really good parties at the tailgate.”  Please HELP!! 

So, below, here is a picture of my tailgater taken at a recent TCU game by a photographer on the field. The picture was taken right before he ran on the field with the other bleacher creatures, a TCU tradition that the Holm family partakes in every game.
